SWORDSMAN'S SHIRT
Notice the narrowed cuff that is fitted to best suit a swordsman for battle. There's no billowy cuff here to interfere with serious parry and thrust. At the height of its popularity, from 1500-1600, gentlemen frequently wore this shirt outside the pants, highlighted with a colorful sash. We drew our inspiration for this authentic pattern from the Elizabethan era; even the tie on the sleeves is authentic to the period. Made from 100% cotton and easy to care for. Black, white, or purple. Please specify M, L, XL Poly cotton, hand wash. Item # MR100236  $39.00

KILT
Colors and designs of the plaids used for kilts conveyed no specific meaning until the 18th Century. At one point in time the higher classes showed off their means with the number of extra colors their kilts displayed. This method of communicating the wearer's place in the social structure soon grew out of fashion and folks began wearing whatever they wanted. Kilts were originally pleated on the floor before being tied around the waist. We've made this attractive kilt easier for you to put on by sewing in the pleats. Looks great on lads and lasses. Two plaid choices available: camel/navy or red/green. Choose S(28"-30"), M(32"-34"), L(36"-39") or XL(42"-44"). Dry clean only.

RENAISSANCE BOOTS
The Renaissance was a very dynamic period, with great advances in the arts and sciences, religion and philosophy, and of course, war. But there was another field of endeavor that is frequently ignored- fashion. One of the more romantic items of footwear were these thigh high boots. Made of premium grade leather, they re also comfortable. These boots are furnished with buckles to tighten the material against the leg. Slits allow the top to be tied close to the leg, or ribbons, colored to the gentleman's fancy, can be laced through. Obviously they can also be worn with the tops turned down. These are not cheap costume boots, but rugged and fully serviceable.  Men's whole sizes 8-13. Item # MR100410            $249.00

BLACK MEDIEVAL BOOTS
Finding accurate footwear has been one of the more difficult problems to face the medieval enthusiast or re-enactor. However, in the past few years we are proud of the fact that we have been able to offer more and more in the way of period footwear. On a visit to Leeds to check out the museum, we found some medieval boots on display and have had them copied- well, almost copied. The originals were made on a common last, and as a result were neither right nor left. But rest assured, our boots have both a right and a left. These are excellent short boots, made of a premium grade leather. As for a time frame, it's about 700 A.D. on up. Sizes 8 - 13
Item# MR200038   $120.00

MEDIEVAL BOOTS
The most difficult part of completing a costume is the footwear. For just about all periods. They re well-made boots that are cut from the best glove-tanned leathers and have an all-suede finish. They're very warm and comfortable. Inside is a 1/8" thick, cushioned insole. What s even better is that they have a hard sole, so you can wear them all day long at fairs and festivals. With a little judicious decorating, they can range from Viking to Scythian, from the Franks to the Renaissance.
Men's sizes 7-13 . Choose brown or black.
