An International Network bringing
forth into the Modern World the Values & Ideals of Chivalry &
Knighthood from the past.
It has ever been my Quest to facilitate a network of groups and
individuals regardless of race or religion who live by a set of Ideals
such as Chivalry. Knights come in many historical forms besides the
traditional Knight in shining armour such as the legend of King Arthur
invokes. There are the Samurai, the Mongol, the Moors, the Normans,
the Templars, the Hospitaliers, the Saracens, the Teutonic, the
Lakota, the Centurions just to name a very few. Likewise today the
Modern Knight comes from a great variety of Cultures, Professions and
Faiths.
It is my goal to bring these Brothers and Sisters together to support,
teach and learn from one another as well as to set an example to
others who would be Knights as well. A network has begun here, if you
would offer your services to those who seek this Way by providing
instruction, guidance and fellowship then add your listing to this

Society for Historic Swordsmanship
What We Are: MASHS is a group of dedicated enthusiasts and
practitioners who come together to study, analyze, and practice
Historical European Swordsmanship and Western Martial Arts. Since its
founding in April, 2000, MASHS' focus has been on Medieval weapons,
Renaissance sword arts, and later period dueling swords. We use real
techniques based on historical manuals and treatises. We also develop
practical tactical experience through drilling and safe bouting using
historically accurate replica weapons and simulators. We are part of a
growing movement dedicated to Western Martial Arts and generally follow
the precepts and training methodologies common to many other groups.
While we enjoy great relationships with our colleagues, we are in fact
an independent martial study society.
What We Are Not: Many of our members come to the study of swordsmanship
from a variety of backgrounds. All are welcome. We are not, however, a
sport fencing salle, live action role-playing group, part of the Society
for Creative Anachronism (SCA) or any other re-enactment group, nor are
we a stage combat organization.
When and Where We Meet: We offer training twice a week as follows:

medieval and renaissance fighting techniques, as well as the history and
culture of the time period. Students learn advanced combat skills

Our dynamic curriculum makes EMAA instructors pioneers of the European

Chateau Laroche was built as an
expression and reminder of the simple strength and
rugged grandeur of the mighty men who lived when
Knighthood was in flower. It was their knightly zeal
for honor, valor and manly purity that lifted
mankind out of the moral midnight of the dark ages
and started it towards the gray dawn of human hope.
Present human decadence proves a need for similar
action. Already the ancient organization of Knights
have been re-activated to save society. Any man of
high ideas who wishes to help save civilization is
invited to become a member of the Knights of the
Golden Trail, whose only vows are the Ten
Commandments.

The Knights Templar of North America®
An ancient and legitimate Christian order of
knighthood upholding the ideals of Chivalry and Religious
Commitment, historical research, and fighting today's enemies of
disease and social distress through charitable efforts and
fund-raising.
Today the Order remains a true, historical Order of Chivalric
Knighthood, now entering both men and women to membership as
Knights and Dames. It is both a Religious and secular Christian
Ecumenical Order. It does not require membership in the Roman
Catholic or any other Christian-denomination Church, and has its
own Internal Monastic Order. It is not a church itself, a

SOCIETY OF THE GOLDEN FLEECE
La Confrérie Amicale de la Toison d'Or is an association of those
interested in the Order of the Golden Fleece, working to preserve its
history and further the aims of the Order in bringing the peoples of
mankind together for the common good. For Duke Phillip it symbolised the
union of Flanders and Burgundy and the rebirth of the central
Lotharingian kingdom of Charlemagne's descendants. The Habsburg heirs of
Burgundy continued the union of an empire of many peoples spanning the
world, with the Golden Fleece as the highest reward for piety, service
and loyalty to principles wider than individual gain.
We especially honor the following of those ideals by Archduke Karl of
Habsburg and His Majesty King Juan Carlos of Spain, the current heads of
the two branches of the Order of the Golden Fleece. Through their
efforts the Golden Fleece remains the symbol for the highest service of
mankind through a life of selfless duty.

Templar in Hertfordshire
In Hertfordshire we presently have 16 Preceptories, and
approximately 400 members (called Brother Knights). Who operate under
the direction of the Provincial Prior, presently Right Eminent Knight
Brian Blanchard. We pride ourselves on our happy and friendly meetings,
and it is often said amongst members that this is their favourite Order.
A newly Installed Knight will go through an extremely interesting
ceremony; taking him through a pilgrimage and then knighthood as a
Templar. There is also a Mediterranean Pass and Malta degree; which is
usually conferred at a meeting each September, by the Provincial
Sub-Prior and also by the Stuart and Melita Preceptories.

International Longbow Archers Association
The I.L.A.A. is for longbow archers. It seeks to lower the
threshold of entry into the sport of longbow archery and to assist the
safe organisation of insured traditional longbow shooting.
The Association covers all the aiming and ranging traditions of the
longbow as practised into the 16th Century, from which the present
traditions are derived.
It seeks to inform archers and other interested parties of their history
and of requisite best practise. It encourages historic research into the
traditional forms of shooting in all countries where it took place as a
form of training and/or in battle.

This is a modern Order of Chivalry, seeking growth and development
for all of its members, and improving the world around us. At the core
of our philosophy are the ideals of chivalry, honor, truth, respect, and
responsibility. Despite appearances, this is meant to be a fairly casual
and low-key order. We are not elitists and narcissists. Nay, such things
should be avoided by the chivalrous man! We seek members who are humble,
honorable, honest, and have a desire to promote chivalry in their daily
lives as well as their knightly hobbies. We are not a LARP group, nor
are we affiliated with re-creationist societies such as the SCA. Our
members are real people, not fictional characters. We are all modern

Knights of the Ancient Light
We are a religious, chivalric order of knights in service to the
Celtic Church of Yahweh and the Abbey of Ancient Light. We are a working
order, which means that knighthood is a way of life and service. Our
knights undergo extensive training and live lives in active service of
God, Church, and Community.
The purposes of nnDnn shall be to promote chivalric endeavors throughout
the world and more especially the promotion of activities related to the
Knights Templar, to offer those who seek to participate in a chivalric
lifestyle options that may not have been previously considered, to
assemble a wide variety of perspectives on the promotion of Knight
Templarism, and to promote the glory of the Holy Trinity in Unity, A! A!
A! This journey is only beginning and we welcome your early interest in

Inspired by fraternal orders such as the Knights Templar, Free Masons,
Knights of Columbus, and groups such as the samurai, Shoalin monks, and
Tibetan monks, for the mission of Ashla Knights is one of service,
support and charity. Based on aspects of science, psychology,
philosophy, spirituality and religion, the philosophy of Ashla Knights
is intended to complement one's established philosophical ideology
and/or preferred faith. In addition to reacquainting oneself with the
cornerstones of ethical conduct and moral behavior, the philosophy,
practice, and path of Ashla Knights is meant to inspire intellectual
growth, personal betterment, philosophical understanding, spiritual
development, and a higher quality of life.

SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and
re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known
World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in
countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle
Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, royal
courts, feasts, dancing, various classes & workshops, and more.”

The
Adrian Empire is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the
study and recreation of Western European culture
between the years 1066 and 1603. Our members work to recreate the arts
and skills of this era. We also include other cultures that commonly
interacted with the Western Europeans during our time frame. This
exciting development means there is now even more rich history, culture,
and tradition to explore!

Armorum- Alliance of Historic Reenactors of the Middle Ages
A movement to ally all the different
steel fighting groups together in the United States of America.
Our Goal is to form a treaty where we work together and pool our
resources we are planning on trying to send our own team to Battle of
the Nations in 2013 in Europe while holding our own events here in the
US as well as formulating a system that encompasses a little from each
group that forms their alliance. This is something new and exciting lets
make this happen!
