Gloucester Renaissance Festival

All Hallows Eve Celebration

     

Held in the picturesque Historic District of Downtown Gloucester, VA.

October 22-23, 2016
Saturday: 10am - 6pm      Sunday: 10am - 5pm

No weapons permitted.   No alcohol or coolers allowed.

With one step you leave behind all that you have known and with the next step you enter a world where Myth and Legend are Reality. Fall leaves waft through the chill Autumn air. The scent of spices, pies and roasting meat tempts your appetite while you slake your thirst with apple cider. Dress in your finest garb and dance the night away at the Masquerade Ball.  Festivities begin Saturday morn at 10 am and does not end until the last note from the music at the Masquerade Ball.  The Festival resumes Sunday morning at 10 am and concludes at 5 pm.  Free to all that shall enter our Magical Realm.

Let us make your Wedding Fantasies come true!

There is a $100.00 fee for the use of our Wedding Venues at any of our Events, this includes Free Admission (where applicable for up to 10 members of the Wedding Party, A Wedding Bower (decorated by the Wedding Client) and two flags of the Bride and Groom's Ancestry. There must be a signed Contract made between the Wedding Party and MFC. There may be Events where multiple Services are being conducted. Weddings are conducted at each Event in the order in which they are Contracted. No impromptu Services are allowed at any MFC Events.

   Celebrate thy Birthday at Faire!
There is a $75.00 fee for the use of our Birthday Venue, this includes a Birthday Pavilion (decorated by the Client) and
one flag of the Family Ancestry.
The Birthday Boy or Girl (regardless of age!) is permitted first in line at the Knighting Ceremony.
There must be a signed Contract made between the Client and MFC. One Party per day of Faire permitted.
 

 

Now seeking Performers, Merchants and Living History Groups as well as
Staff (Roadies, Knights) for the 2016 season.

Selection of Performers, Merchants, Living History and other participants is based upon the following criteria: Period Tentage, Ability to fit within the theme and atmosphere of the Event, Type of Merchandise, Performance or Service offered, Prior participation and good standing with MFC, Completion of Application/Contract received with full payment of Merchant fee. Applications are accepted on a first come first served basis with returning Participants, who are of good standing, being given first refusal.
