Hand crafted to resemble the Viking Battle
Sword which has a distinctive three-lobed “wave” pommel, long
straight double-edges, and a short one hand grip. Viking swords were
a typically lighter and shorter than the two handed arming swords
carried by Knights later on in history. The reason for this
was their style of fighting utilizing a sword and shield combination
as well as the fact that they fought while on the move. These
lighter swords were more easily yielded especially when battling on
the sea between warring longships.
The Child's Three Lobe Sword is

In honour of the remarkable women of Catalonia (Spain) we present
the:
Order of the Hatchet
Collection
The Order of the Hatchet (Orden de la Hacha)
An order of knighthood founded in Catalonia (Spain) in 1149 by the
Count of Barcelona, Raymond Berengar IV (Ramon Berenguer IV), to
honor the women of Tortola who defended their homeland and families
against the Moors.
Tortosa had been under Muslim control for centuries when it was
taken over by crusaders in 1149, shortly after, the army left for
other pressing matters, and a Moors returned laying siege to the
city. When told by the Earl of Barcellona that they might best
surrender,
the women dressed
as men, took hatchets and other weapons, and successfully attacked
the Muslim camp, driving the army away
and thus defeating the disaster threatening their City, their
Children and themselves.
These Brave
Women were also granted several Privileges and Immunities, to
include being exempt from all Taxes. And as a display of their
Honour they were given a crimson red hooded capelet to be worn at
all public meetings.
